New Call for Applications!OPEN courses in Spring 2024
We’re excited to announce again that the Regional English Language Office at the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv is accepting applications from Ukraine EL teachers to participate in the Spring 2024 term of the Online Professional English Network (OPEN) Program.
The OPEN Program offers eleven 8-week professional development courses developed by U.S. universities on topics such as:
▪️Teaching for the Future: English Teaching to Take on Climate Change
▪️English for Media Literacy as a 21st Century Skill
▪️Developing and Teaching Academic Writing
▪️Creating and Implementing Online Courses
▪️Fostering Student Motivation and Engagement
▪️TESOL Methodology
▪️Professional Development for Teacher Trainers
▪️Integrating Critical Thinking into the Exploration of Culture in an EFL Setting
▪️Teaching English to Young Learners
▪️Teaching Grammar Communicatively
▪️Using Educational Technology in the EL Classroom
🔸Please note a new offered course: Teaching for the Future: English Teaching to Take on Climate Change.
Submit your application by January 31, 2024 to be considered for courses that begin in spring of 2024. Certificates and digital badges are issued by the U.S. Department of State for all those who pass the course.
