Our aim is boosting professional experience sharing and supporting newly qualified teachers of English in Ukraine and beyond its borders.
Who are we?
I am Tetiana Konovalenko, a teacher of English and Methodology of Teaching English Language from Bogdan Khmelnitsky Melitopol State Pedagogical University. You know that team work is a great thing which helps to involve various points of view and share multiple experiences. So, day after day you are going to get acquainted with my co-creators and co-authors of the blog. They are school and university students, school and university teachers and all people who are interested in learning and teaching English.
Why was the blog created?
The idea of the blog creation was inspired by the project “Professional Development for Instructors of Pre-Service Teachers” and was supported and financed by the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine, Regional English Language Office, Department of State of the United States of America, Childhood Education International, Hunter College of the City University of New York, Center for Professional Learning, and Ukraine TESOL Faculty Professional Development Project Funds.
There are a lot of experienced and talented teachers who are able to handle professional situations of any difficulty level. At the same time, the newly qualified teachers are making all their efforts to solve the challenges they are facing so often constructively. Inviting both categories of teachers to the dialogue, and sharing their positive and negative experiences creates the ground for effective cooperation.
We are happy to invite all the interested authors to contribute to sharing information, discussing relevant topics, suggesting solutions to the problems and challenges associated with learning and teaching English language. If you have some ideas, just write to us.
